As Americans discover that their dollar multiplies in emerging markets where modern housing costs a fraction of U.S. prices, private healthcare is accessible for under a thousand dollars a year, entrepreneurship requires far less capital, and daily life restores dignity and financial freedom, they also expand U.S. influence, open new markets for American companies, build continental networks of innovation, and reinforce the natural partnership between the United States and the rising economies of the Americas. Far from abandoning their country, Americans who choose Latin America are extending its prosperity, projecting its values, and helping shape a continental future in which the United States grows stronger by embracing the opportunities of the south.
